List of Abstracts 2018: WORKSHOP
Date: November 14, 2018
In this workshop present company Sobriety s.r.o. news in digital image correlation (DIC) software Mercury RT and the measurement unit for potential drop method called LIMIT. In DIC it is mainly about introducing the use of camera systems in cyclic loading with the possibility of feedback to the testing machine or the measurement of strain on various samples. Further use is at torsional loading when measured by a multi-camera system. DIC software Mercury RT allows track a point(s) at turning higher than 180 °. One of the newest application is to use software Mercury RT for measuring the rate of crack propagation with cameras, that can be used in fatigue testing.
Sobriety s.r.o. develop furthermore potential drop method (DCPD). It is a very effective way of measuring samples, that are located in the atmosphere. In addition to this application, it is possible to use a potential drop method for measurement on weldings or thickness of the wall of the pipelines. During the workshop, both ways of using the unit will be presented.
After the introductory presentation, both the 3D DIC MONET measuring system and the LIMIT measurement unit will be available.
Workshop will be focused to current software solutions for static and dynamic material and component testing. Structure and application possibilities of workflow-based testXpert® III will be explained.
Configuration of test procedures via wizard, traceable manipulation-proof test results, automated data import and export, standard-compliant testing with predefined test procedures, comprehensive user-management, results tailored to individual requirements, automatic correction of machine deformation, traceable specimen behavior and other software functionalities will be discussed with participants.
New generation of testXpert Research testing software will be introduced. testXpert Research is the software platform for fatigue tests and other cyclic, dynamic, and quasi-static tests on servo-hydraulic testing systems, magnetic resonance pulsators (Vibrophore) and linear motor testing systems (LTMs).
